I. CIP SIMPLE OVERVIEW FOR GOLD
The carbon slurry gold extraction process(CIP)is one of the methods for cyanide gold extraction. After the cyanide leaching of the
gold-containing material is completed, the gold-containing cyanide is subjected to carbon adsorption. It has long been found that
activated carbon can adsorb precious metals from a solution, and initially only adsorbs gold from the supernatant, and smelts the
gold-bearing charcoal to recover gold.
Since the cyanide slurry needs to be separated by solid-liquid separation to obtain a clear liquid and the activated carbon cannot
be returned, this method cannot be industrially competitive with the widely used zinc substitution method.

This is our factory in Sudan project, The project adopts cyanide leaching gold extraction technology (CIL). The design scale is
60,000 tons per year, 200 tons per day, 300 working days per year.
This gold mine grade is 2-5g per ton, due to its low grade and complex surface mineral property, it is difficult to maintain a high
recovery rate in normal operation. Our mechanical engineers comprehensive analysis finally determine to use: CIL cyanide
leaching gold extraction process.
Raw materials through crushing, grinding processing, when the particle size of 200 mesh content reach to 90% - 95%, stir and
cyanide the slurry, then leaching, activated carbon counter current adsorption, gold loaded carbon desorption electrolysis etc
steps, the finished product is gold ingot.
